Ripsy Bandourian joined Booking.com in January 2014 to oversee the development and execution of Booking.com’s first foray into Business Travel. Today as Senior Director or Product, she leads the company’s Booking.com for Business division, driving Booking.com’s commitment to innovation in tailoring its global offering to meet the unique needs of business travellers. She is responsible for overseeing seamless product development, value proposition, and growing commercial relationships that help Booking.com build its presence in the business travel arena. With almost one in five bookings on Booking.com now made for business, Bandourian continues to lead strong growth and drive towards a bright future for Booking.com in this area.
Bandourian joined Booking.com from Apple, where she most recently led a network of premium mono-brand Apple stores in her role as Senior Manager, Commercial Channel. In addition, she worked on building up the enterprise and education businesses in Eastern Europe, with a focus on mobile technology and solution development. Prior to this, she led the development of the premium reseller network across EMEIA.
Previously in her career, Ripsy was a Junior Partner at McKinsey & Company in London. She worked with clients in the technology, media and consumer industries on a range of areas from the commercialisation of new products, to opening up new geographies, to building and investing in business propositions.
Ripsy holds an MBA with distinction from Harvard Business School and a double degree in Molecular Biology and Economics from Brigham Young University.
